Being tolerant or discriminating? The capital's most popular object of graffiti: male's genital, could be seen in Pasar Akbar, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (17/05). This time it was visible in a temporary children playing ground. Why has no religious organization protested against such banalities? Are these kinds of vandalism, visible for everyone, regardless of age, not as “moral-corrupting” as the publication of Playboy magazine, whose intention has always been solely for adult consumption? Or have we always been tolerant towards everything masculine, but in such hurry to forbid anything feminine? Farid Rakun | July 2011
