Gramps Abul, Bandung

Aki Abul (or ‘Gramps Abul’, 73), a veteran who fought the DI/TII rebels in the late forties/early fifties, now works as a pedicab driver in Bandung. Crossing the Braga street with a unique pedicab design, he feels that the allowance he receives as a war veteran is no longer enough to meet his needs as the head of his family. Agus Bebeng | May 2009
