Yogyakarta, June 14, 2009. Blind people from the Panti Sosial Bina Netra (Bina Netra Home for the Blind) participated in a fashion show held by Festival Kesenian Yogyakarta XXI (XXI Yogyakarta Art Festival ) in Vredeburg Fortress. They wore clothes from local designers, used make-ups, and then walked with their own style on the catwalk. They did not use sticks or any other devices; instead, they counted the number of steps they had to take, and memorized when they had to turn around.
